TikTok has hired a new US Head of Enterprise Sales, Tim Natividad, as the red hot social media app sets its sights on growing its ad revenue.
At the ByteDance-owned app he will be “responsible for enabling customer success across all enterprise and Fortune 100 level advertisers who seek to make TikToks, not just ads,” according to his LinkedIn bio.
To do so he will tap into his wealth of ad sales experience at top tech companies like SambaTV, Roku, Amazon, and Google. Most recently at SambaTV, Natividad served as the SVP of Brand and Agency Solutions.
“Today, I see TikTok as the rising star in the democratization of creativity and I am excited to announce my joining of the team as US Head of Enterprise Sales,” Natividad stated on LinkedIn.
TikTok is now one of the most popular social media apps in the US with over 80 million monthly active users, making it fertile ground for advertisers who want to target its younger audience — as of June 2021, 60% of users are between the ages of 16 and 24.
