Nyeji Chilembo-Mhango

Nyeji Chilembo-Mhango, MSc., is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management, economic advisory, and international trade. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at wCap since June 2020, Nyeji is committed to addressing the funding gap for female-led SMEs in Southern Africa. As a Global Member of 100 Women in Finance since March 2024, Nyeji advocates for women's leadership in the finance sector. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director at LendMePay Zambia Limited, Regional Director at THE ALPHA GROUP INTERNATIONAL, and Director & Lead Consultant at Chase Resources Limited. With a strong background in economic integration and sovereign debt management during tenure at various government ministries, Nyeji brings a wealth of knowledge that combines advisory services with a focus on empowering marginalized communities. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Development Finance from the University of Reading and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Namibia.
