Peter Towner

Peter Towner is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Director of Corporate Finance at 2 Sisters Food Group since May 2017, with responsibilities in M&A, Group Treasury, Group Tax, Pension Risk and Strategy, and Investor Relations. Previously, Peter held the position of Group Treasurer and Head of Tax at Morrisons from July 2012 to May 2017, where key responsibilities included liquidity management, cash forecasting, and the execution of the group's financial strategies. Peter also has experience with Northern Rock/UKAR, serving in a treasury role from June 2007 to July 2012. Recognized for leadership in treasury management, Peter was shortlisted for Small Treasury Team of the Year by the Association of Corporate Treasurers in 2019. Peter holds several finance-related qualifications from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University.
