Giovanni Prencipe

Giovanni Prencipe is an experienced professional in the field of electronic engineering, currently serving as the LPWAN Network Manager at 2i Rete Gas S.p.A since April 2015, where responsibilities include managing the Network Infrastructure functional area and a team dedicated to the RF LPWAN network. Prior to this role, Giovanni worked as a Smart Metering Engineer, focusing on product homologation, technical specification development, lab testing, RF network planning, and technology scouting. Giovanni gained valuable experience during an Erasmus program at Mixed-signal Microelectronics (MsM) TUe, collaborating on a wearable fetal monitoring device for a master thesis. Additionally, a bachelor thesis on developing an electronic system with microcontrollers for a CMOS image sensor was completed at Microlaben S.r.l. Giovanni holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, completed in 2015 and 2011, respectively.
