Austin Young

Austin Young serves as the Director of Business and Legal Affairs at 2U since January 2022, where responsibilities include co-leading legal support for the enterprise/B2B sector, contract negotiations, and vendor onboarding. Prior to this role, Austin was a Counsel at both 2U and edX, focusing on contracts related to government and corporate customers, and facilitating enterprise sales operations, while also developing streamlined procurement processes. Previous experience includes positions at Ropes & Gray LLP as an Intake and Compliance Attorney, Morrison Mahoney LLP as an Associate specializing in medical malpractice defense, and Shutts & Bowen as an Associate handling high-volume insurance defense cases. Austin began the legal career as a Clerk at the Ohio Twelfth District Court of Appeals. Austin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business - Marketing from Miami University.
