Rebecca Gallagher is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications and strategic engagement. Currently serving as Vice President of Internal Communications & Engagement at 2U since 2017, Rebecca has significantly expanded the communications team and improved effectiveness within the organization. Prior to 2U, Rebecca held various roles at McDonald's USA, including Director of Communications, where strategic leadership was provided across multiple markets. Rebecca's earlier career included positions such as Business Strategies Manager at the Washington DC Convention & Tourism Corporation and Promotions Manager at Bonneville/Classical 103.5 WGMS-FM. Educated at Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish, Rebecca's diverse background reflects a commitment to enhancing communication strategies and fostering organizational growth.
