Florian Mewes

Florian Mewes is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in senior design leadership and education. Currently serving as Senior Design Director at 2x4, Florian has previously held roles including Design Director and Associate Art Director. Florian has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation and as a Design Instructor at New York University. As a Designer and Partner at Groot/Mewes and as an independent Designer, Florian has demonstrated versatility across various design projects. Florian Mewes holds a Diploma in Design from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, earned between 1999 and 2005.
