Deborah Cooper

Deborah Cooper is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and organizational leadership across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff at 374Water since May 2024, Deborah previously held roles such as Chief People Officer at National Fire & Safety and Chief Human Resources Officer at Oswald Companies and Unison Risk Advisors. With a strong background in managing operations, people, and culture, Deborah has effectively contributed to executive teams at notable organizations, including FRONTSTEPS and Dish Network, where responsibilities encompassed training, development, and employee relations. Deborah began their career in human resources at Unisys Corporation and has also made notable contributions at DigitalGlobe and Avaya. A member of the America's Cup women's sailing team in the 1990s, Deborah holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami and a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan.
