Alberto Castillo Aroca

Alberto Castillo Aroca is an experienced professional currently serving as Director de programas and Assessments Expert at 3iSolution since July 2024. Prior to this role, Alberto founded the Observatorio Latinoamericano de Desarrollo Sostenible - OLDS, where research projects on sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean were developed, and the team of researchers was coordinated from September 2016 to September 2024. Alberto's consultancy experience with the World Health Organization from July 2022 to August 2024 involved optimizing information management within PAHO's Public Health Emergency Department. Additional roles include Information Management Officer within the Global Health Cluster, Information Management Expert with iMMAP Inc., and Information Manager for the Colombian/Venezuelan border at United Nations OCHA. Alberto's educational background includes a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Universitat de Barcelona, a degree in Economics from Universidad Santo Tomás, and additional studies in economic policy and analysis.
