George Church is a co-founder of 64x Bio, a company that specializes in engineering living cells. George has also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at both the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and Harvard Medical School. George's research has focused on expanding the functionalities of proteins and developing genetically isolated GMOs. George received their PhD from Yale University in 2010.
George Church received their Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from Yale University and their B.Sc. in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. George has also attended the Y Combinator startup school.
