Ashwin Shashindranath

Ashwin Shashindranath brings a unique combination of 15 years of investment experience and hands-on entrepreneurial experience at startups. Ashwin looks for and works with entrepreneurs who are genuinely excited about being agents of change in the climate tech landscape. Prior to joining EIP, Ashwin was a Managing Director in Macquarie Capital’s Green Investment group leading venture capital and growth equity investments in energy and mobility transition. Prior to Macquarie, Ashwin was at Evergy Ventures, venture capital arm of Evergy Inc (Investor-owned regulated electric utility) leading over a dozen successful investments in companies focused around Digital Transformation, Energy Storage, and Distributed Energy Resources. Ashwin is a Kauffman Fellow (class 24) and serves as a mentor for Techstars Kansas City and Techstars – Heritage Group programs. Ashwin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Missouri Institute of Science and Technology.
