Shulamit Levenberg

Shulamit Levenberg is a distinguished professor and researcher in the field of biomedical engineering, holding the Stanley and Sylvia Shirvan Chair in cancer research and life science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since 2004. Shulamit Levenberg serves as the Chief Scientific Advisor for both Nanosynex and Aleph Farms and is an active member of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and the "Leadership in Academia" program at RothchildCP. Contributions to bioethics are evidenced through Shulamit Levenberg's membership in the Israel National Counsel for Bioethics. Previous roles include serving as president of the Israel Stem Cell Society from 2013 to 2016 and a visiting professor at Harvard University. Shulamit Levenberg completed a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science and obtained a BSc with honors from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
