Sigal Shafran Tikva CCRN, MPH, MHA, PhD, serves as the Founding Director of the Research & Innovation Center in Nursing at Hadassa Medical Centers, Hebrew University Jerusalem, since 2013, and also holds the position of Data and Research Manager in the Nursing Division. Involved with the 8400 Health Network as a member since December 2018, Sigal Shafran is active in multiple Health Ministry Committees focusing on healthcare innovation, violence prevention, and racism prevention. Additionally, Sigal Shafran contributes as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Lecturer at the Lev Academic Center, specializing in qualitative methods, leadership, and innovation. With an extensive background in nursing and healthcare administration, Sigal Shafran held various roles at Hadassa Medical Centers from 1992 to 2012 and served as the Nursing Quality Administrator for the Israel Ministry of Health from 2012 to 2013. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Health from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, along with multiple master's degrees in public health and health administration, culminating in an executive education program at Harvard Business School.
