Alison Gleeson

Alison Gleeson was Senior Vice President of the Americas organization, the largest of Cisco's four geographic regions, responsible for more than $25 billion in annual sales for the company and leading nearly 9,000 employees across 35 countries. In more than 20 years at Cisco, Alison has led several top-performing organizations by focusing on a customer-first mentality, building go-to-market and data-driven initiatives, and strengthening Cisco’s relationships with top partners. This includes theaters in Canada, Latin America, US Commercial, US Public Sector, as well as the Global Enterprise Segment which included Cisco’s top 28 customers.

Alison is also a highly-regarded international speaker about the drivers for digital disruption across industries, the role of technology in enabling business transformation, and empowering women in technology. Alison maintains a commitment to professional development and inclusion and diversity in the workplace. In 2018, she received Connected World’s “Woman of IoT” award for her role in advancing the field. In 2017, she received Diversity Best Practice’s “Above and Beyond Legacy Award” and Michigan Council for Women in Technology’s “Woman of the Year Award” for her work in advancing women in IT roles. She was the Global Executive Sponsor and Board President for Cisco's Connected Women's Network, an organization with 7,000 members worldwide. Alison currently serves on the Board of Directors for Elastic, a public company with corporate headquarters in Mountainview, California. In addition, she serves on The Eli Broad College of Business Advisory Board of Directors for her alma mater, Michigan State University. She is an active Investor, Portfolio Committee Member, and Advisor to Brighton Park Capital headquartered in Greenwich, CT.
