Chris Nicol has extensive experience in electrical engineering, currently serving as an Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior roles include Firmware Engineer at the same company, where Chris contributed to firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products, and Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on the design and repair of educational devices. Additionally, Chris held a position as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting with labs and grading, and worked as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, involved in developing control systems for forestry harvesters. Chris Nicol holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
