Mark Rowan

Mark Rowen has been an entertainment executive for over twenty years. He is the former head of Home Entertainment Production for DreamWorks SKG. Mr. Rowen is a leader in data-driven marketing which optimizes brand communications based on user information to predict consumer needs, desires, and future behaviors. These insights have helped him to development and produce marketing strategies that result in the highest possible return on investment. Mr. Rowen’s clients include Disney, HBO, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple and all of the major studios and streamers, along with HP, Intel, NetApp in the tech space and Walmart, Target and Carrefour in the retail space. He has created materials that have garnering over $5 billion in revenue. Most recently, Mr. Rowen worked on the structure for MargaritavilleTV; led the launch of Forbes Magazine’s Under30TV; and Bonnier Publishing’s Weekender Network among others.

He produced the successful scripted Hulu TV series Looking For Alaska, based on the John Green novel. He is currently prepping the unscripted series, The Prophet, for Amazon Studios. He produced the acclaimed A Night At The Movies series for TCM; Built To Fail, a streetwear documentary; The Air Of The Time, a look at 100 years of women empowerment in the fashion world, as well as “Caribbean’s Next Top Model.” Mr. Rowen serves on the Advisory Boards of the IKAR Institute and the Crisis Text Line.
