Timeshen Govender

Timeshen Govender is an experienced production manager currently serving at Boortmalt since January 2021, overseeing all operations related to malting production, barley supply, and customer delivery, with a strong emphasis on safety, food safety, and quality standards. Previously, Timeshen held the role of malt production and process engineer, focusing on the successful operation of malting plants, particularly a newly built facility in Ethiopia. Prior experience includes a malting management traineeship at The South African Breweries, where Timeshen completed specialized training in malting science and successfully managed various projects. Additional roles involved brewing operations, where Timeshen ensured effective use of operational software and laboratory analyses, and early career experience as a shift supervisor at Exclusive Books.
