Shaan Kanagalingam

Shaan Kanagalingam is a Research Assistant currently employed at AbCellera in Sydney, New South Wales, since February 2022, where responsibilities include optimizing and developing cell-based assays for testing novel therapeutics and conducting high throughput flow cytometry experiments. Prior experience includes a role at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research from June 2019 to February 2022 in the Chong Laboratory, contributing to various cardiac regeneration projects, and earlier as a Research Assistant at the University of Sydney from July 2017 to June 2019, where initial laboratory work led to continued involvement in research projects. Shaan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Immunology from the University of Sydney, completed an HMX Pro Online Certificate Program in Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School in 2024, and possesses a diploma in Biomedical Sciences from Republic Polytechnic obtained in 2013.
