Chuck Drake

Chuck Drake is an experienced professional in the field of engineering technology with a diverse background in academia and industry. Currently serving as an Area Delegate and Program Evaluator for ABET since 2003, Chuck plays a critical role in the accreditation process for engineering technology programs. Additionally, Chuck has contributed as a volunteer with ASME on the Engineering Technology Accreditation Committee and previously chaired the Mechanical Engineering Technology Leadership Committee. Active in promoting math education, Chuck has been a local coordinator for the MATHCOUNTS Foundation since 2002. Chuck's academic career includes a tenure as Professor Emeritus at Ferris State University, where teaching focused on mechanical engineering technology subjects. Prior experience includes a development engineering role at Arconic, engaging in projects across various applications. Chuck holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lake Superior State College.
