Kemal Aydin is an experienced academic and practitioner in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Program Evaluator for the Computing Accreditation Commission at ABET since June 2019. Aydin holds the position of Program Chair and Lead Faculty, Associate Professor of Computer Science at Franklin University since August 2017, and is also the founder of Realize Potential LLC since September 2018. Previously, Aydin worked as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at North American University from August 2014 to May 2020, alongside supervisory roles at both Drone LAB and Cybersecurity LAB during the same period. Aydin began the academic career as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at North American University and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, from 2012 and 2009 respectively. Aydin earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a BS in Computer Science from Dokuz Eylul University.
