Colin White

Colin White is a seasoned career advisor with extensive experience in employability support roles. Currently serving as a Career Advisor at Abingdon and Witney College since January 2017, Colin previously worked as a Job Coach for Activate Learning, focusing on the long-term unemployed in Oxfordshire as part of the Building Better Opportunities project. Before that, Colin coordinated employment and training initiatives for residents at Sovereign Housing Association, and served as an Employment Advisor with The Shaw Trust, assisting individuals facing personal barriers to employment. Colin's earlier career includes various technical roles in chemical and process engineering, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in Career Guidance from the University of the West of England and an HND in Applied Biology from South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education.
