Gertie Huitink

Gertie Huitink is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience, including leadership roles in operations and industrial management. Gertie worked at Eneco for over 12 years, serving as Head of Industrials & Storage and Manager Operations, contributing to significant projects like a 50 MW bioenergy plant. Prior to that, Gertie held various engineering and managerial positions at Essent, Nuon, Grolsch, and the Royal Netherlands Navy, demonstrating expertise in machinery, commissioning, and team leadership. Gertie is currently transitioning into retirement after a tenure as Pensionada at Pensioenfonds ABP beginning in March 2024.
