Henk Achterkamp

Henk Achterkamp has extensive experience in information management and innovation, currently enjoying retirement since March 2021 after a long tenure at Pensioenfonds ABP. At Gemeente Enschede, where Henk has worked since September 1980, roles included Programmamanager Basis Informatie, focusing on open data, big data, and quality assurance of basic registrations, as well as leading the Informatie Service Centrum and the Real Estate Information Department. Henk also served as the Regional Project Leader for the implementation of the Basisregistratie Grootschalige Topografie (BGT) and has contributed to various long-term GIS projects, developing basic registrations and data distribution systems. Henk Achterkamp holds a degree in geodesy from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
