Sara Soares

Sara Soares is an Associated Partner in the tax law department at Abreu Advogados, where professional experience spans from September 2008 to the present. Sara's career at Abreu Advogados includes roles as a Senior Associate, Associate, and Trainee Lawyer within the same department. In addition to practical experience, Sara has contributed to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at FDUP, teaching seminars on tax litigation and administrative practices from 2013 to 2021. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in International Customs Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2020-2021), a Postgraduate in Tax Law/Taxation from IDEFF (2013-2014), a Master's in Law with a focus on Tax Litigation from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2009-2011), and a graduation in Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2004-2008), complemented by an International Exchange Program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2007-2008).
