Hamideh Keshavarz

Hamideh Keshavarz, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Analytical Development at Abzena since August 2023. Previously, Keshavarz held the position of Senior Scientist at Merck from January 2022 to August 2023 and was a Senior Manager of Quality Control and Senior Analytical Scientist at Apeel Sciences from July 2018 to December 2021. With a solid foundation in academia, Keshavarz contributed as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University from August 2014 to May 2018, where mentorship and instruction in various analytical techniques were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include a Teaching Assistant position at Western Michigan University and an R&D researcher at Tehran Darou Pharmaceutical Company, focusing on method validation and regulatory compliance. Keshavarz earned a PhD in BioAnalytical Chemistry from Michigan State University, a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor's in Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology.
