Charles Thomas

Charles Thomas is an experienced educator specializing in adult learning and language instruction. Currently serving as an Adult Learning Specialist at the Academy of Hope Adult PCS since February 2021, Charles has also been a teacher at Thomas Shortman Training - 32BJ since January 2008, focusing on English as a Second Language for diverse student backgrounds. Previous roles include Academic Manager and Curriculum Manager at EF Education First from April 2019 to July 2023, Education Director at Washington Education Group from June 2013 to November 2014, and Program Manager at Washington Language Institute from March 2009 to November 2014. Charles holds a degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland, earned between 2001 and 2005.
