Adam Colborn serves as the Director of Government Affairs at AMCP since March 2020, where significant achievements include leading the development of the State Advocacy Leaders program and the creation of a comprehensive state legislative policy agenda. Prior to this role, Adam worked as a Public Policy Specialist at the Alzheimer's Association® from June 2016 to March 2020, focusing on public health policies related to Alzheimer's and overseeing the development of various educational materials. Earlier experience includes a policy internship with the City of Rockford, Illinois, where Adam contributed to drafting local ordinances and conducting legal research. Adam holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University.
