Mays Nawayseh

Mays Nawayseh is a seasoned professional in protection and gender issues with extensive experience in humanitarian settings. Currently serving as a Global Protection and Gender Advisor at ACAPS since June 2021, Mays has held key positions including WOS PSEA Coordinator at IOM - UN Migration and Protection Advisor for Syria and Turkey at World Vision. Previous roles include Women's Empowerment and Protection Manager at the International Rescue Committee and various positions at IOM, the American Refugee Committee, and UNHCR. Mays's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University, diplomas in Economics and Human Rights, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences from Mutah University.
