Hamant Becharbhai

Hamant Becharbhai is an experienced Associate Director currently leading Risk Management for the SMR-X Project at Ontario Power Generation, focusing on enhancing project delivery while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Previously, Hamant held the position of Associate Director at Comtech Group and served in multiple managerial roles at Ontario Power Generation from November 1990 to August 2022, including overseeing nuclear decommissioning strategies, leading performance initiatives for the Darlington Refurbishment Project, and managing business planning for nuclear operations. Hamant holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
