Niels van de Koppel

Niels van de Koppel is an Audit Partner at Deloitte, serving clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) industry, with a focus on those reliant on significant IT systems. With over two decades of experience at Deloitte, Niels has held multiple leadership positions, including Analytics & Innovation lead and head of the Audit Analytics team, while founding the IT Audit Initiative to enhance technology integration in financial auditing. In addition to responsibilities at Deloitte, Niels currently serves as Vice-Chair of Technology & Audit at Accountancy Europe, where efforts are directed towards promoting technological advancements within the audit profession and influencing EU policy. Niels holds an MSc in Accountancy and various qualifications in IT Auditing and Advisory, supported by a solid educational background from prestigious institutions.
