Accounting Aid Society -- Growing an Economy That Works for Everyone 

Accounting Aid Society (AAS) is a nonprofit organization that offers free tax help and counseling; financial coaching and education; and financial services for small businesses (see DoTheNumbers.org). 

Founded by accountants who wanted to give back to community, and named a "Best-Managed Nonprofit"​ by Crain's Detroit Business, AAS has returned more than $350 million to southeast Michigan since 1972.
