Geert van Tieghem

Geert Van Tieghem has extensive experience in various leadership roles, primarily serving as kantoordirecteur at Acerta since January 1985, with a focus on supporting West Flanders employers. Additionally, Geert has contributed as an Account Manager and Service Delivery Manager KMO, overseeing the operational aspects of the social secretariat. Since January 2013, Geert has been an active gemeenteraadslid for Stad Brugge. Furthermore, Geert has been involved in education as a docent in social law and payroll administration at Syntra West since 1988. Geert also participated in the political landscape as a candidate for the Vlaamse Parliament in 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work with a focus on Personnel Management from HOGENT and a Bachelor's degree in Personnel Policy from Arteveldehogeschool.
