Mari Smith

Mari Smith is an experienced sourcing specialist with a long tenure at Ackermans, beginning in 1998. Currently serving as a sourcing specialist since February 2012, Mari is responsible for sourcing in the Infants & Male strategic business unit. Prior to this role, Mari held multiple positions at Ackermans, including senior buyer for Tops & Bottoms, where responsibilities evolved over the years to focus solely on Tops from 2017 onward. Earlier career experience includes comprehensive oversight of Tops, Bottoms, accessories, swimwear, and contributions to the Girls Hang Ten range. Mari's educational background includes a degree in Clothing Production from Tygerberg College, complemented by studies at Stellenbosch College.
