Steven Hensley

Steven Hensley serves as the Director of the Board of Directors at the ACLU of Northern California since January 2022. In addition, Steven worked as a Law Clerk at the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, contributing to significant legal efforts, including a Supreme Court amicus brief. As a co-founder and Executive Director of Youngsters For Change, Steven focused on resource distribution for underserved youth. Previous roles include mentoring incarcerated youth through AmeriCorps VISTA and supporting formerly incarcerated students at UC Berkeley. Steven holds a J.D. Candidate from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from California State University, Fresno.
