Paralegal - Speech, Privacy And Technology Project at ACLU

Anika Venkatesh possesses a diverse background in legal and human rights work, currently serving as a Paralegal for the ACLU's Speech, Privacy and Technology Project since August 2023. With prior experience as a Consultant at Airwars, Anika evaluates reports on military incidents and drafts assessments on civilian and combatant casualties. Anika's role at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP involved assisting with various corporate and pro bono matters, including HIPAA violations and wrongful convictions. Additionally, experience includes internships with the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations, Zene za Zene, and the Human Rights Law Network, where Anika engaged in legal drafting, research, and advocacy. Anika holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Politics from Georgetown University.
