Ruth West

Ruth West is a distinguished academic and leader in the fields of art and science, currently serving as the Chair of the Courses Program for ACM SIGGRAPH 2024. With a robust background in research and education, Ruth holds the position of iSchool Research Fellow at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a Professor and Director at the xREZ Art + Science Lab at the University of North Texas. Additionally, Ruth contributes as a Board Member on the International Advisory Board for the Swiss Center for Design and Health and chairs the Leonardo Education Art Foundation. Ruth West has held various influential roles, including prior Chair of the Art Papers Program for ACM SIGGRAPH and a strategic position at UC San Diego.
