Tammy and her husband had traveled the western part of the country for his job as an exploratory driller. When the opportunity came to run her grandparents’ small motel and café along the California coast, they decided it was time for a life change. After five years helping her grandparents bring the old place back to life, they found they really enjoyed this type of work. When the day came to move on, they went to work as live-in Innkeepers of two larger inns across the country from each other. During the past 10 years, the Internet and online marketing came into place for innkeepers. Tammy was very interested in this new way of advertising, and took just about every class both online and at conferences to soak it all in and learn how to put the power of the Internet to work for the business. She and her husband now own a bed and breakfast in a small East Texas town, and love to take their two little dogs for walks around town.
