Vivek Srinivas

Vivek Srinivas is an accomplished data engineer and software developer with experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Data Engineer Intern at Acorns since May 2022, Vivek has architected an ETL process utilizing the PySpark framework and developed an algorithm for detecting security anomalies in logs. Prior to this role, Vivek gained valuable experience as a Graduate Student Assistant at Arizona State University, contributing to courses in Data Visualization, Principles of Programming Languages, and Statistical Machine Learning. With previous experience as a Software Engineer 2 at Dell EMC, Vivek developed features for midrange storage products and resolved security threats. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
