Eric Houwen

Eric Houwen is an accomplished talent acquisition leader with extensive experience in managing recruitment operations and employer branding across various organizations. Currently serving as Global Talent Acquisition Director at ACT Group since December 2023, Eric previously held the position of Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at Deloitte Nederland from October 2018 to December 2023, where leadership of a team of approximately 100 focused on staffing and diversity hiring resulted in the implementation of new recruitment technology and significant hiring metrics. In addition to advisory roles at Recruitercode and prior board membership at Recruiters United, Eric has a background in interim recruitment management and RPO projects at multiple firms including TomTom, Optiver, and Het CAK. Eric holds a degree from the University of Groningen and has been instrumental in integrating modern recruitment methodologies throughout the career.
