John Wall

John Wall is a highly experienced industry leader in engineering and technology, currently serving as a Board Member at Ad Astra Rocket Company and Chair of the Board of Directors at Achates Power. With a robust advisory role at several organizations, including ClearFlame Engines and multiple boards within the National Academy of Engineering, John Wall has significantly contributed to advancements in science, technology, and public policy. Previously, John Wall held multiple vice president positions at Cummins Inc. over nearly three decades, culminating as Chief Technical Officer before retiring in 2015. An alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, John Wall earned a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, building a strong educational foundation for a distinguished career in the engineering sector.
