Prof. Dr. Ing. Yassine HADDAB is full Professor at the University of Montpellier (since 2015) and head of the DEXTER team focused on design and control of robot manipulators and medical robotics at LIRMM. He holds a Ph.D (2000) degree in control and microrobotics from the University of Franche- Comté. In 2012, he received the HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) from the University of Franche-Comté. From 2002 to 2015 he was an Associate Professor at ENSMM and FEMTO-ST Institute at Besançon where he led the AS2M Team focused on microrobotics and high precision devices. His research interests are the design and control of high precision microrobots and microsystems and applications in medicine and surgery. He supervised 10 PhD theses and is author or co-author of more than 75 journal and conference papers and book chapters. He was the coordinator of the Micro-Nanorobotics theme in the EQUIPEX ROBOTEX. He is scientific advisor and co-founder of AcuSurgical.
