Valentina Schmidt

Valentina Schmidt, Ph.D., is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in the field of molecular diagnostics and biomedical research. Currently serving as an R&D Scientist II at Acutis Diagnostics, Valentina focuses on validating multiplex molecular diagnostic LDTs for infectious diseases. Previous roles include Principal R&D Scientist at Chembio Diagnostic Systems, where Valentina developed rapid diagnostic POC assays for diseases like COVID-19 and Mpox, and an R&D Scientist at Applied DNA Sciences, specializing in COVID-19 PCR assays.
