Jon Zaidi

Jon Zaidi, PhD, serves as the Country Head for Uzbekistan at ACWA Power since August 2023. Previously, Jon Zaidi held the position of Doctoral Student Professional Teaching Fellow at The University of Auckland from November 2015 to July 2023, focusing on "Unlearning for Change." Jon Zaidi has extensive leadership experience in the energy sector, including as Chief Executive Officer at Lake Turkana Wind Power Limited, where strategic initiatives led to significant profit generation during challenging economic times. Additional roles include Senior Consultant at Six Sigma Way, where Jon Zaidi implemented turnaround strategies for energy utilities, and Chief Executive Officer at Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, where Jon Zaidi led transformative organizational changes. Education includes a Ph.D. in Management from The University of Auckland and advanced degrees from HEC Paris and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
