Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technologies. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has played a significant role in the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities encompassed circuit design and control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
