Wade Yamazaki

Wade Yamazaki is an accomplished legal professional specializing in intellectual property law, currently serving as Supervising Principal Counsel at Cruise since January 2019. In addition to this role, Wade co-founded ADAPT.legal in April 2022, an initiative aimed at enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the IP profession. Wade’s prior experience includes serving as a Patent Attorney at Carr & Ferrell LLP and as a Patent Agent at Munchkin, Inc., where Wade managed and developed extensive patent portfolios. Wade holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Intellectual Property Law from USC Gould School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical (Mechanical) Engineering from the University of Southern California.
