Darren Burgess

Darren Burgess is an accomplished sports performance professional with extensive experience in high-performance roles within various football clubs and organizations. Currently serving as the General Manager of Performance at Adelaide Football Club and a Co-Founder of TELOS Performance Partners, Burgess also holds positions as Head of High Performance at Western United Football Club, Director for Elite Performance Partners in Australia, and High Performance Consultant for FIFPRO. Previous roles include High Performance Manager at Melbourne Football Club, Director of High Performance at Arsenal F.C, and High Performance Manager at Port Adelaide Football Club. Burgess began a career in fitness with Liverpool Football Club and Football Federation Australia. With a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Australian Catholic University and a background in Sports Science from UNSW, Burgess demonstrates a strong academic foundation in the field.
