Atef Farouk

Atef Farouk is a seasoned geologist and petrophysicist with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Specialist Petrophysics at ADNOC Group since March 2009, Atef has held several leadership roles, including UFR Studies Team Leader and UDR's Studies Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Dana Gas as a Senior Petrophysicist, where responsibilities involved re-evaluating old wells, and at Agiba Petroleum Co. with a focus on exploration and development wells. Notable roles include Wellsite Geologist for Apache Corporation and senior petrophysicist for Centurion Energy Co. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology/Geophysics from Ain Shams University, complemented by professional training with SPE.
