Raymond Cassar

Raymond Cassar is an experienced professional in business development and sales within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Opportunity Development lead for EMEA at Adtran since February 2023, Raymond oversees business growth and relationships for Adtran's 5G funded UK Government projects. Previously, Raymond held the position of Account Director for ADVA Optical Networking, focusing on sales strategy and revenue growth in the UK Enterprise and Public Sector markets from February 2019 to February 2023. Raymond's extensive background includes key leadership roles at Openreach, where responsibilities included driving solutions and contracts exceeding £45 million, and managing significant relationships with BT Global Services. With a foundation in technology analysis and client relationship management from earlier roles at BT, Raymond holds a BEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey.
