Rick Berger

Rick Berger is an experienced energy consultant currently working at Advanced Energy since April 2022, focusing on energy assessments and ISO 50001-related projects. Previously, Rick served as an Energy and Environmental Specialist at PHI Environmental Consulting, where responsibilities included performing onsite audits, achieving DOE SEP certification, and developing Environmental and Energy Management Systems. Rick's career began with various research assistant roles, contributing to battery performance studies and fuel cell technology at Arizona State University, along with ecological research at Chicago Wilderness and the Center for Urban Restoration Ecology. Rick Berger holds a Master of Science in Alternative Energy Technology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Brooklyn College.
