Carrie Sutherland

Carrie Sutherland has extensive experience in engineering operations and leadership within the technology sector, currently serving as Engineering Operations & Chief of Staff for the Gaming Platform at AMD since September 2011. In this role, Carrie oversees operations for a team of 8,400 across more than 20 global sites, focusing on growth initiatives and operational efficiency. Additionally, Carrie has provided leadership for AMD's Software division, managing budgets and strategic deployment. As a member of the Board of Directors for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation since June 2013 and former Chair of the Value Chain Group, Carrie has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Earlier career roles include Director of Business Process Improvement at AMD. Education includes an HBA from Queen's University and studies at Université Paul-Valéry, Montpellier.
